For us, interior design starts with how you live: where the morning light falls, where the school bags end up, how many people sit down for dinner. We plan the layout first, then choose the finishes, fixtures and joinery to suit it, so the house works before it's styled.
By considering these elements together from the beginning, every decision has a purpose and the finished home feels connected from one space to the next.
What's included
Full home or single-room concepts
Whether we're designing one room or an entire home, we establish a clear design direction first, with moodboards allowing you to explore how the space could look and feel before the details are resolved.
Layout refinement & detailed selections
We review the floor plan with the way you'll actually use each space in mind, then select the flooring, tiles, benchtops, cabinetry finishes, tapware, lighting, hardware, window furnishings, and paint to bring it together.
Ongoing guidance through your build or renovation
We can remain involved while your builder and trades work, answering design questions, reviewing alternatives and working with your builder and trades to help carry the design intent through to completion.
Design documentation
Detailed drawings, schedules and specifications clearly communicate the design to your builder, cabinetmaker and trades, giving them the information they need to price and build from.
3D renders
Renders allow you to visualise key spaces before they're built, giving you confidence in the overall design, material palette and details before committing.
Who it's for
Our Interior Design service is for clients building a new home, renovating an existing one or reworking a space that simply isn't functioning as well as it could.
We can work across an entire home or focus on one important space. A kitchen, bathroom, living area or master suite can be a project in its own right, and we tailor the scope to suit what your home needs.
We also take on select commercial interiors and office spaces.
How it works
Consultation
We walk through the spaces with you, talk about how you live, what is and isn't working, and what you'd like the finished home to feel like.
Return brief
Following the consultation, we prepare a return brief outlining the proposed scope of works, together with moodboards exploring a few potential design directions. You choose the direction that feels most like you, and we develop the design from there.
Design & selections
We refine the layout and develop the joinery, then select the finishes, fixtures, materials and details that will shape the space. We'll gather samples for you to see and touch key selections before they're finalised.
Documentation & 3D renders
The design is translated into drawings and schedules for your builder and trades. Where included, 3D renders allow you to visualise how the spaces and selections will come together before construction.
Through the build
Once trades begin, we can remain involved to answer questions, resolve design details and review any changes or substitutions that arise, helping to keep the finished result aligned with the original design direction.
Furniture, artwork and styling come next. Our Interior Decoration service can continue the story once the interior design is resolved.

An interior designer works on the parts of a house that are built in: the layout, joinery, lighting, and the finishes and fixtures chosen for the build. A decorator works on what goes into the rooms afterwards: furniture, art, rugs and styling.
We do both. If you're building or renovating, start with design. If the walls and fittings are staying as they are, Interior Decoration may be all you need.
More about Interior DecorationNo. Plenty of our projects are one room that isn't working, like a kitchen that's awkward to cook in or a bathroom that never felt right. If you're not sure whether your project needs a designer, ask us and we'll tell you honestly.
As early as you can. On a new build, that's before the plans are final, while moving a wall or a window still costs nothing. On a renovation, it's before you ask builders to quote, so they price the job you actually want. We can still help later on, but there's less we can change.
Why it pays to bring a designer in earlyYes. Most people have pieces they love, and we design around them. Tell us what's staying at the consultation, and we'll plan the layout and finishes so those pieces sit comfortably with everything new.
We work in person across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. If you're further away, we offer e-decoration: we put the plan, moodboards and selections together from a distance, and you bring the room together yourself.
