The open-plan living area showcases a seamless blend of contemporary interior design and soft minimalist styling. A plush, tufted olive-green modular sofa from our friend at Globe West offers luxurious comfort while anchoring the room with rich, earthy tones. The oversized chaise invites relaxation, making it the perfect space for both entertaining and everyday lounging.

Paired with sheer linen curtains, light timber furniture, and a textured wool rug, the styling reflects a neutral colour palette that’s both modern and timeless. Subtle layers of texture—boucle, velvet, and oak— feature throughout the home add visual interest without cluttering the space.

Open to the living room is the dining, featuring a beautiful light oak dining table with minimalist silhouette. The timber dining armchairs, also quite minimalist in nature, have a beautiful rattan seat, another organic layer to soften this space.

To feature as the centrepiece we opted for a fresh white handmade vessel paired with organic sculptural stems, and a white lightweight stone bowl– the fresh white lifting the timber tones in the space. The large mirror reflects the height of the centrepiece and adjoining living and kitchen, and also acts as a way to frame the dining room.

Natural Bedroom Design: Warm Tones & Organic Shapes

The modern bedroom design embraces a warm, textural approach with the primary bedroom featuring a natural timber chest of drawers, a plush upholstered bench, and sculptural ceramic vases. The large circular mirror adds a contemporary statement while visually expanding the space. The use of dried florals in muted tones complements the understated elegance of the room, while soft, flowing curtains contribute to a sense of calm.

On the other side of the expansive primary bedroom is a curved boucle daybed. Paired with an organic-finish side table, this is the perfect corner to cosy up to, complementing the various pieces within this space, making it a perfect example of modern bedroom styling with natural materials.

The guest bedroom features a striking olive panelled bedhead that paired with gingham linen bedding, crisp white sheets, and raw timber stools, creates the perfect balance of light and depth for a truly serene space.
